1Scope of this policy

This policy covers information we handle through granitesystem.com and related project inquiries, including showroom requests, estimates, callbacks and customer communications. Independent suppliers, payment providers and other external services have their own privacy policies.

This policy describes our practices. Visiting the website alone does not replace any separate consent required for marketing or other processing.

2Information we collect

• Contact information: Your name, email address, phone number and project or mailing address when you provide them.
• Project details: Measurements, material and sink preferences, selected products or packages, installation needs and other information you submit.
• Uploaded files: Kitchen photos, layouts, drawings and other project files you choose to send. These may contain personal information or file metadata.
• Communications and records: Inquiries, correspondence, estimates, orders, invoices and related service records.
• Website information: IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring websites, advertising identifiers and interactions collected through website logs, cookies and enabled measurement tools.

Please submit only information relevant to your project. Do not include passwords, Social Security numbers, full payment-card details or sensitive personal documents in our inquiry forms or file uploads.

• Project delivery: Fabrication, installation, delivery or other service partners may receive the details needed to help complete your requested project.
• Business support: Website hosting, email, form, storage, payment and other service providers may process information to support our operations.
• Analytics and advertising: Enabled services may receive device identifiers, website activity and measurement information as described above. Depending on the applicable law, some advertising disclosures may be classified as a sale, sharing or targeted advertising even without a monetary payment.
• Legal and business needs: Information may be disclosed to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and security, or support a merger, acquisition or business transfer, subject to applicable requirements.

6Security, payments & retention

We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect information. No website, transmission method or storage system can guarantee complete security.

Payment and financing providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies. Transaction, invoice and accounting records may be retained separately from payment credentials. Please do not send card numbers or banking credentials through our website inquiry forms or ordinary email.

Depending on your location, the law and its applicability to our business, you may also have rights to access or obtain a copy of your data, withdraw consent, or opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising.

Email info@granitesystem.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” Describe your request and include the contact information used for your inquiry. We may need reasonable information to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority. We respond within applicable legal timeframes; some requests may be limited by legal obligations or permitted exceptions.

If an applicable law provides an appeal right and your request is declined, you may email us with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” We will review the decision and provide the response required by that law.

You can ask us to stop promotional communications or use an unsubscribe option where provided. Necessary communications about an active project, transaction or privacy request may continue. A callback request authorizes a response to that request; it does not by itself grant unrestricted marketing permission.

8Links, maps & embedded tools

Our website may link to suppliers such as MSI or Cambria, or display external content including Google Maps and MSI’s kitchen visualizer. When embedded content loads, its provider may receive your IP address, browser information and other activity, and may use its own cookies or technologies.

Those providers’ privacy practices apply to the information they collect. Review their policies before using their tools, signing in or submitting information. This policy does not govern independent third-party websites.

9Children’s privacy

Our website and countertop services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate steps to delete it.
